命は美しい
月の雫を背に受けて
Having drops of the moon on the back,
一枚の葉が風に揺れる
a leaf is swaying in the wind
この手離せば楽なのに
Letting go of this hand makes it easier
しがみつくのはなぜだろう
But why do we hold on to it?
何のために生きるのか
What do we live for
何度問いかけてはみても
asking that over and over again
空の果てまで暗闇が黙り込む
but the darkness is silent throughout the sky
夢を見られるならこの瞼を閉じよう
if we are able to dream, let us close our eyes
悩んでもやがて夜は明けてく
even if we are worried, the dawn will break before long
命は美しい
初めて気づいた日から
from the first day we recognized
すべてのその悲しみ消えてゆくんだ
all of the sadness are going to disappear
永遠ではないもの
not being a permanent thing
花の儚さに似て
similar to the fragility of flowers
その一瞬一瞬が生きてる意味
those each and each moments are the meaning of our life
地平線から差し込んだ
shining from the horizon,
藍色の陽が語り掛ける
indigo sun light speaks to us
昨日途中であきらめたこと
what we gave up in the midstream yesterday
今日もう一度始めよう
let us start it over once more today
何のために生きてるか
what are we living for
答え見つからなくたって
even if the answer is not found
目の前にある真実は一つだけ
the truth before our eyes is only one
それが幸せだと教えられるよりも
rather than being taught that is the happiness
足元に咲いた花を見つけろ
look for a flower beside your feet
命はたくましい
life is strong
この世に生まれてから
from the moment we were given birth
どんなに傷ついても立ち上がろうか
how hard we get hurt, we’ll get up once more
捨ててはいけないんだ
